About

We built Opal because we needed it.

Arthea runs several brands. Opal is the cockpit we use to run them, and it exists because nothing on the market did the one thing we cared about: hold every draft for a human yes, then publish through each platform’s own API without a middleman.

Story

The short version.

The first version of this tool was a sprawl: fifty scheduled jobs, an automation platform wired into every publishing path, and a surface for every idea anyone had had. It worked, in the way a thing held together with tape works. It was also expensive, hard to reason about, and impossible to audit.

Opal is the deliberate rebuild. Fewer surfaces, each one finished. Publishing moved in-house, so the tokens never leave our own servers and every call is one we make. Approvals became a gate rather than a suggestion. Everything privileged writes an audit row. The result is a tool we trust with our own accounts, which is the only bar that matters before offering it to anyone else’s.

We now open it to teams that work the way we do: several brands, a real calendar, and someone who wants to read a post before the world does.

Principles

What we hold ourselves to.

A human approves everything

Automation drafts and schedules. It does not decide what a brand says in public. The approval gate is the product’s spine, not a setting.

First party or nothing

Every platform call is made by us, with the permission you granted, from our own servers. No reseller sits between your account and your post.

Numbers that can be checked

Where a data source is missing, the number is a dash. We would rather show a gap than a guess.

Small on purpose

Fewer surfaces, each finished. Opal replaced a much bigger internal tool precisely because breadth without depth is a maintenance bill, not a product.

Arthea

The company.

Arthea builds and operates software products, and Opal is the one that runs the rest of them. You can reach us through support, read the terms and the privacy policy, or see the company at arthea.ai.

See it on your brands.

A 30-minute call: your channels, your calendar, and what Opal would take off your plate first.
